Rawalpindi(April 12, 2018): Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed met with the tribal leaders of KP on Thursday, lauded their spirit and courage .
According to the ISPR, COAS met with the notables of Khybder Pakhtunkhuwa. The meeting was attended by senators, MNAs and Lawyers. Security situation of came under discussion in meeting, whereas Army Chief highlighted the success by the LEAs against war in terror.
Army Chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa appreciated spirit and courage of the people of Pakistan, specially of FATA and KP, said ISPR.
COAS said that they respect people of FATA, security situation has improved after continuous efforts.
He marked that this is the time to get united and move toghter for the peace and the prosperity, Pak Army supports social and economical development of the affected areas, COAS added.
On the occasion, COAS also gave directives in connection with the check posts.
