Peshawar: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Friday gave time PTI chairman Imran Khan and CM Mahmood Khan till September 15 to submit their reply in a violation of code of conduct
The provincial ECP heard a case of violation of code of conduct during the PTI chairman public gathering in Peshawr at the provincial headquarter of the election body.
Counsels of Imran Khan, CM and Ministers appeared before the the ECP while the counsels insisted the court to give some time for submission of their reply.
The KP ECP handed time till September 15 to all the counsels for submission of their replies in the case.
Qazi Irshad advocate from behalf of Imran Khan, barrister Ali Guhar from behalf of the CM KP appeared before the provincial ECP headquarter.
The election body had called the PTI chief, CM KP and provincial ministers today over the violation of code of conduct.
Former premier Imran Khan and the CM KP consels in their clarification said that the notice served to their clients are illegal adding that the government machinery didn’t use.
The PTI chairman counsel said that as a candidate it is right of Imran khan to hold election in his constituency.
