The Meteorological Department has forecast mainly cold and dry weather in most parts of the country over the next 24 hours.
However, the plain areas in Punjab are expected to have shallow fog like conditions during the morning.

Skardu was the coldest place where the temperature dipped to minus six degree centigrade. The temperature in Kalat was minus four degree followed by minus three degree in Hunza. The temperature in Astur, Kalam, Gilgit, and Quetta was recorded at minus one degree centigrade.
Minimum temperature of major cities recorded this morning were: Islamabad six degree centigrade, Lahore thirteen, Karachi seventeen, Peshawar ten, Murree five, Muzaffarabad nine, Quetta and Gilgit zero degree centigrade.
