ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday congratulated cricketer Younis Khan for becoming first Pakistani to have scored 10,000 runs.
In a statement, he said the entire nation is proud of Younis Khan’s achievement. He said that the success of Younis Khan is a manifestation of Pakistani cricketers’ hard work and talent.
Earlier, on the fourth day of Kingston Test against West Indies, Pakistan will resume their first innings at overnight score of 201 for four today.
Younis Khan, who scored 58 runs in the first innings, also completed his ten thousand runs.
He is the first Pakistani and 13th world cricketer, who achieved threshold of 10,000 runs in test cricket.
Earlier in their first innings, West Indies were all out for 286
