WASHINGTON: United States President Barack Hussein Obama said in his last press conferences that constructive US-Russia relationship is in the interest of America as well beneficial for the world.
Obama said that US needed more efforts to eliminate racial discrimination from the country. He admitted that Jewish settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories were the biggest obstacle for peace between the two countries.
Obama said that Russian always considered US policies against it and gave negative response. He said fostering warmer ties during his presidency was stymied by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s combative stance
Being a president, Obama said in his last press conference that the greatest advice he could give, he had given to Trump was to rely on others around him. Obama said that he had given suggestions about foreign and interior ministries to the upcoming president Donald Trump. He said complexity of the issues would compel Trump to adopt his policies.
