KARACHI: Sindh local government minister Saeed Ghani on Wednesday stormed Prime Minister over reaching International Monetary Fund (IMF) for another bailout, saying it seemed that Imran Khan had made claims to commit suicide for fun while it might be a container in making to fulfill his promise.
He said it was order of Allah Almight to fulfil promises but it seemed that PM had earlier claimed to commit suicide instead of taking loan was for fun only.
Ghani while continuing his criticism against rulers said statements emerging from government circles were exhibiting pictures like the international financial body was praying Pakistan to accept loans but Imran Khan was rejecting the offer.
Taking aim at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) firebrand communication minister, he mocked that Murad Saeed was bringing back $200 billion but the money seemingly looted by the opposition.
Saeed Ghani was talking to reporters after conducting a meeting at National Stadium Karachi to review preparations for fourth edition of HBL’s Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The minister expressed satisfaction over arrangements made for the international cricket tournament.
He told media representatives that better arrangements will be made for matches this year as a security gate will be reserved at the spot of shuttle service. He clarified that the government was making efforts for finalising arrangements without putting excessive burden on the treasury.
