ISLAMABAD: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing on Monday said that the Chinese Government was satisfied with the implementation on planned projects of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
During his media talk in the federal capital, Yao Jing apprised the media that the second ‘Belt and Road forum for international cooperation 2019’ is all set to take place in Beijing from Apr 25 till 27.
The event will witness the participation of leadership of 40 countries.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will also pay a visit to the event on special invitation tendered by Chinese President Xi Jinping himself.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan will be an important speaker at the forum. We are very hopeful of Prime Minister’s visit to China since Pakistan is a very vital partner for Belt and Road project”, the Envoy said.
Moreover, Yao Jing also condemned the terrorist attacks in Colombo which claimed at least 290 lives and injured more than 500.
