Coronavirus Claims More Than 100 Deaths On Consecutive Second Day

LAHORE: Pakistan has reported 102 deaths second day in a row in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to

700,188. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 15,026 on Wednesday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,004 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 6,731 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,516 in Sindh, 2,496 in KP, 584 in Islamabad, 380 in Azad Kashmir, 212 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB.

Furthermore 267,238 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 237,594 in Punjab, 93,862 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 62,775 in Islamabad, 19,942 in

Balochistan, 13,713 in Azad Kashmir and 5,064 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Pakistan has so far conducted 10,535,061 coronavirus tests and 41,699 in the last 24 hours. 620,789 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 3,769 patients are in critical condition.
