KARACHI: A record number of cases have been reported in Karachi in last 24-hours while 19 have succumbed to the coronavirus.
As per the figures released by the Sindh government as many as more than 7000 thousand tests conducted for the coronavirus.
Out of 17000, 1475 tested positive for the cornavirus while Karachi hit hard by the virus as mamooth 1104 cases reported in the city.
The number of cases in other cities of Sindh are as under Hyderabad, 60, Ghotki 98, Sukkur 56, Khairpur 14, Larkana 58, Dadu 21, Shikarpur 13 and Jacobabad 26.
The 19 who lost battle against the virus inlcuded 15 men and 4 women while their age limit are under 40 to 80 years.
As per the report more 554 people recovered from the virus while the recovered tally stand at 18, 265.
The virus has claimed 634 lives in the province.
