ISLAMABAD: Cotton production of the country has seen a major decrease in the current season. The cotton production of the year remained 0.8 million bales less than the previous season.
The overall volume of cotton produce of the season stood at 10.6 million bales while it was stood at 11. 4 million bales in last season.
Textile companies bought 0.9 million bales from this year cotton produce while exporters bought 0.1 million bales.
