Former Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon on Sunday came down hard on Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, saying that the country will not be allowed to be run at the whims of Chaudhry Nisar.
Addressing a press conference, Memon questioned that as to why Nisar did not put the names of Prime Minister and his family members on ECL after their name featured in the Panama Leaks scandal.
He said that the law should be applied evenly on all.
Memon said that Nisar must have demonstrated haste after the Panama case, adding that it was of no use to be hastened on ‘unnecessary’ issues.
He took jibe at Nisar saying that after every major incident of terrorism in the country he put on Burqa (veil) but hastened to launch his verbal bombardment on opposition.
He advised the minister to work honestly at the post he was occupying.
Memon, who faces billions of rupees corruption cases and have returned recently from self-imposed exile, opined that Nisar should have resigned on moral grounds following the release of Quetta Commission report.
Memon said that the competition should be of development, vowing that PPP would compete.
He said that he respected the courts, saying that he had complete trust in the courts.
He announced to organize a big public meeting in Hyderabad, saying that people will see the difference between PM’s public meeting and that of PPP.
