LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz has said that he has given answers of allegations in front of people of Pakistan.
Talking to media after appearing before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Hamza Shehbaz said that the anti-graft body had returned his money, adding that Imran Khan will have to seek apology from people of Pakistan if corruption of 180 million against him not proved.
“I am being alleged of embezzled of Rs 85 billion but question is that who informed Shahzad Akbar and Fawad regarding his corruption whether is it NAB or FIA?”
Hamza Shehbaz said, “it is a sign of doomsday that Jehangir Tareen, who is disqualified over corruption was delivering a statement on corruption yesterday,” adding that he (Tareen) used to hold meetings with Imran Khan in Bani Gala.
The PML-N leader said that the government took lent Rs 3300 billion adding that he did not have any pain over appearing in the NAB but no one could estimate what economic losses looming in future.
He said that on one side Asad Umar said that IMF agreement will not increase inflation and on the other side Ogra announced a hike in gas prices by 80 percent.
Regarding his statement recorded in the anti-corruption body, he said that he will record statement in Lahore High Court (LHC) tomorrow what he recorded in front of masses.
