LAHORE: Prime Minister Advisor for Commerce, Investment, Industries & Production and Textile Abdul Razzaq Dawood has said that the country economic development could not be possible without promotion of tax culture.
Addressing the ceremony in Lahore the PM advisor said that “We have used to of live life on subsidies due to failed policies of previous governments.”
The advisor said that it is not right to rely on government for betterment in the economy while we should leave behind subsidy culture.
Abdul Razzaq Dawood said that the government is working on innovation especially adding that most of the people wanted that the government should do every task.
He said that all have the opportunity of entrepreneurship adding that we should be honest with ourselves.
Talking about the country trend he said that “We Pakistani believed on tiny benefits and have individual dreams while a businessman has to look for a benefit for all.”
Briefing about the government policy the advisor said that “We are working on long term goals for the betterment of the country.
Dawood said that “People don’t want to give tax in the country which is not a good way.” He said, “One should understand that without tax culture countries cannot be run.”
He informed that the government is working on to decrease trade deficit adding that it has decreased as well and will remain further decrease.
The advisor said that the government wanted to forward SME sector which creates employment opportunities and around the world it occurs adding that in past the sector did not get attention in last 70 years and concentrate on bigger businesses.
He said that the incumbent government trying to promote business mentality.
