ISLAMABAD: The accountability court on Friday announced the verdict over former president Asif Ali Zardari plea for provision of Air Conditioner (AC) directed him to contact medical officer and it depends over his consultation.
The judge Muhammad Bashir heard the case while giving arguments by Asif Zardari lawyer told the court that he is the heart patient as seven stents have been installed and despite court orders his client is not being provided with the facility of AC.
The representative jail Adeel told the court that Nawaz Sharif was provided with the same facility on the on medical grounds.
On which judge remarked, “Leave it each case does not have the same circumstances as to when the law allows the provision of AC than why was it not provided,” he continued, “Law is not a decoration piece to place only for a showcase, therefore the law should be followed rather traditions.”
After the arguments, the judge reserved the verdict and later announcing the verdict judge said that if the medical officer suggests AC it should be provided to him.
