LAHORE: An Accountability Court of Lahore on Wednesday extended physical remand of Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz by 14 days in a case pertaining to assets beyond known sources of income.
Accountability Court Judge Ameer Mohammad Khan heard the case as National Accountability Bureau (NAB) produced the PML-N to court leader under strict security.
In this regard, stringent security measures were taken. Police blocked all routes leading to the court to avoid any mishap.
Previously, the court extended Hamza’s remand by 14 days, till July 10 (today).
It is to be noted that Hamza Shehbaz was arrested on June 11 from Lahore High Court over allegations of possessing assets beyond his income.
