ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court (AC) has ordered medical examination of ex-finance adviser in the LNG scandal case.
The AC Islamabad Judge Muhammad Bashir heard the petition seeking facilities for ex-finance adviser Miftah Ismail in jail in the LNG scandal case.
Defence lawyer in his arguments contended that Miftah Ismail has been suffering from heart ailment and presented the medical report of the ex-fiance adviser.
The counsel prayed the court to order TV facility and allow his family to meet him.While the NAB prosecutor raising an objection said that accused has been provided a better class in the jail for which the jail officials can better inform the court.
To which, defence lawyer said that what ever facilities can be provide under the law be provided to his client.
Later, the court ordering to provide facilities under the jail laws to Muftah Ismail the court adjourned the hearing while in its order the court also instructed the jail officials to determine the day on which he could meet people.
