Court Orders To Complete Arguments Till Next Hearing In Imran Farooq Murder Case

ISLAMABAD: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday rejected the plea seeking some more time for submission of more evidence by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in a case pertaining to the murder of Dr Imran Farooq to and ordered to conclude the arguments by next hearing.

As per details, ATC judge Shahrukh Arjumand heard a case pertaining to the murder of Dr Imran Farooq and rejected the FIA’s plea seeking some more time to get detailed evidence of the case from British authorities.

The court, however, has rejected the pleas seeking two months time to get some more evidence of the case from British authorities.

The court by ordering both parties to conclude the arguments by next hearing adjourned the case’s hearing till June 20.

Earlier on May 15, FIA in a case pertaining to the murder of Dr Imran Farooq sought some more time to submit detailed evidence from an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).

As per details, ATC judge Shahrukh Arjumand heard a case pertaining to the murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq.

As the hearing went underway, the FIA sought some more time from the court to submit detailed evidence of the case.

However, the defence lawyer pleaded the court to reject the FIA’s plea.

The court after hearing the arguments of both parties reserved its judgement and adjourned the case’s hearing till May 30.
