Court Reserves Verdict in Meera’s Case  

Lahore (November 09, 2017): A family court has reserved its verdict over Meera’s plea to annul the second marriage. The verdict will be announced on November 11.

On Wednesday,  the family court in Lahore adjourned hearing of the dual marriage case till November 11 as renowned Pakistani actress, Meera’s counsels completed their arguments.Earlier, Meera had filed a plea to annul the second marriage case as she did not know Atiqur Rehman.

She claimed that Atiqur Rehman registered bogus case against her for cheap publicity. Meera added that the opponent is also trying to damage her reputation by such fake legal procedures.Meera had submitted that she had not married with Atiq-ur-Reham, who according to her had forged the marriage certificate to blackmail her.

She said that the relevant union counsel had already termed Atiq-ur-Reham’s marriage certificate bogus and lending credence to her claim.
