Lahore (April 04, 2018): The Lahore High Court ordered on Wednesday the clubbing of petitions filed against the possible arrest of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) ameer Hafiz Saeed as court has extended his bail before arrest.
The Lahore High Court justice Aminudin Kahn resumed hearing on request in which petitioner expressed apprehension of arrest of Hafiz Saeed while provincial government lawyers have also submitted reply in the court.The counsel of Hafiz Saeed A Dogar has claimed in his plea that government wanted to take action against his client on the pressure of India and US.
“Hafiz Saeed can be arrested or put on house arrest on influence by US and India,” he told the court, adding court should halt government to arrest him.
The LHC extending the bail before arrest of Hafiz Saeed adjourned the hearing for April 23.
