ANKARA: Turkish ruling AK party has achieved more than 60% seats in the parliamentary elections, several people were injured during clashes between police and protesters after the announcement of election results.
However, Turkish Election Commission has completed counting of votes, according to the preliminary results, Turkish government has gained 318 seats out of 550 seats in the parliamentary elections.
The chief of CHM, opposition party has got 131 seats, as they accepted their defeat after the announcement of the results. Whereas, other opposition party HDP got 58 seats and MHP has taken 43 seats.
Activists of the ruling party are celebrating their victory across the country.
During the raly on the eve of victory, Turkish President, Ahmed Davutoğlu said that the winning of AK party is the victory of the democracy.
