Islamabad (July 20, 2017): Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal has termed China-Pakistan Economic Corridor proves an opportunity to boost the country’s economy.
Iqbal said it was the third opportunity since the country came into being and added that they have no room for any mistake. He said Pakistan was given first opportunity in 1960 and second in 1990 but unfortunately both opportunities were not availed.
Iqbal said Pakistan’s growth rate hit 10-year high of 5.3%. Energy crises decreased, economic and law and order situation improved in the country, he added.
He said all the efforts will go in vain, if someone disturbs the national stability. Iqbal said only 10 months were reaming in elections-2018. He continued that there was no allegation of corruption on PM Nawaz Sharif.
He said Pakistan will be included in top-25 economies in 2025. The minister said that they were preparing the youths for digital revolution.
