ISLAMABAD: As the deadline of Assets Declaration Scheme reached its end, Federal Government on Thursday began its crackdown by freezing undeclared properties of Senator Choudhary Tanvir.
As per details, Government has frozen 7,000 Kanal land of PML-N leader and Senator Choudhary Tanvir’s after it was found to be undeclared.
Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), over Premier Imran Khan’s special emphasis, has begun its action against those who did not avail the government’s scheme.
In this regard, FBR has kicked-off action in Karachi, Rawalpindi and other cities.
Sources said that once inquiry gets concluded over Senator, government will seize his property of 7,000 Kanal land.
It was found that the land was in name of Mr Tanvir’s employees; Mohammad Basharat, Raja Abdul Shakoor, Shahjahan Begum, Mohammad Maroof, Azhar Ali and Abdul Aziz.
Notices have been issued to all employees.
