KARACHI: The criminals have turned animals as they poured Elfy, highly adhesive substance, into the eyes of a minor boy after abducting him.
The incident had taken place in Korangi’s Awami Colony Goth Ilyas where some unidentified persons took hostage of five-years-old Abdul Hanan and dropped elfy in the eyes of the children and fled.
The police took custody of the child and shifted him to Sindh Government Korangi Hospital, where he was administered eye drops to offset the effect of the super sticking liquid, following which he was able to open his eyes and later transported to shelter home of Sarim Burni.
After airing of the news the brother of the child contacted the police to take him brother back on which Sarim Burney handed over the child to his family today.
Sarim Burney at the occasion said that the child medical will be carried out while he doubted that any family member can be behind the heartless act.
He demanded the DIG East to take stern notice of the incident and arrest the culprits and handed them exemplary punishments.
Mother of the child wept after meeting her child and said that she is a widow having six children and brings up their children by doing jobs adding that she has no enmity with anybody.
