CTD Foils Church-Attack Plan, Arrests 3 Daesh Terrorists

Muzaffagarh: Counter Terrorism Department foiled plan to attack a church on Christmas and arrested three Daesh terrorists during a raid conducted close to the church.

According to CTD the arrested terrorists are identified as Naveed, Shahid, and Rashid. CTD said that arrested terrorists hail from Okara, Sahiwal, and Toba Tek Singh.

Claiming that arrested terrorists worked for Daesh the CTD authorities said a case has been registered and the arrested terrorists were shifted to undisclosed place for investigations.

It may be mentioned here that CTD claimed to have killed two terrorists in an alleged encounter in the wee hours of last nght in Multan.

According to the details, CTD team, on a tip-off about the presence of five or six terrorists affiliated with a banned  group, conducted a raid in a compound near Jalalpur Pirwala.

As the cops warned them to surrender, they opened fire on the police personnel. In retaliation fire, two of them, included a wanted terrorist M Ajmal, were  killed, while three of  them managed to escape from the scene by taking the advantage of darkness.

The identity of the other dead terrorist is yet to be ascertained.

CTD has also seized ammunition from their possession, included an automatic rifle and a pistol.
