GUJRANWALA: Counter Terrorism Department on Friday killed five terrorist in an alleged encounter in WAPDA Town.
CTD officials claimed to have killed five terrorists in WAPDA Town, area of Gujranwala and said that three of their accomplices managed to flee. The officials said that the terrorists were affiliated with a banned outfit and planning attacks in Gujranwala.
The CTD officials said that sophisticated weapons, explosive material and two grenades were recovered from the possession of the deceased terrorists. Police shifted the bodies to the morgue for postpartum.
