Custom Foils Bid to Smuggle Foreign Currency Abroad

ISLAMABAD: Customs officials on Wednesday foiled a bid to smuggle foreign currency worth millions of rupees from Islamabad Airport.

Customs officials have recovered 37,000 Saudi Arabian Riyal and 37,500 United Arab Emirates Dirham from two passengers.

According to sources, the arrested passenger was traveling to Dubai with foreign currency from PIA flight 211.
