SOUTHAMPTON: The English seamers ripped through West Indian batting and bundled them out only at 212 in 44 overs in the World Cup match at Southampton on Friday.
Following early collapsed N Pooran and Hetmyer brought back the team in the game, they both added 89 runs for the fourth wicket partnership. Pooran hit 63 with three fours and a mighty six, however, he trapped by Archer.
Hetmyer 39 and Russel helped WI to pass the 200 marks.
England’s pacers Archer and Wood took three wickets each and never settled down the West Indians batting.
