SOUTHAMPTON: With the help of Mushifiqur Rehman and Musaddek helped Bangladesh to set a moderate target of 263-run in World Cup match at Southampton on Monday.
Mushifiqur Rehman posted 83 runs on 87 balls with the help of four fours and a six while captain Shakib has also made 51 runs. The later part of the innings, Musaddek’s 34 helped the team to post 262 runs.
Brilliant bowling by the spinner Mujeeb ur Rehman went in vain by the poor Afghan fielding and pace bowling. He took three wickets by giving only 39 runs while Gulbadin Naib grabbed two.
