NEW DELHI: Cyclone Vayu is expected to strike the Indian state of Gujarat with flooding and damaging winds on Thursday, AbbTakk news reported on Wednesday.
India’s Met department has issued a threat alert in this regard. Cyclone Vayu is expected to strike the Indian state of Gujrat tomorrow around 8 am to 12 pm. The Met department has also predicted damaging winds on June 13.
The met department has also predicted a downpour in the next four hours and the flight operation has also been suspended in some parts.
However, the authorities have planned the evacuation of a quarter million people from Gujrata in case of the cyclone’s strike.
