Islamabad (February 07, 2018): Federal Privatisation Minister Daniyal Aziz has arrived at the Supreme Court with regard to a contempt notice issued to him by the apex court.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed will conduct the proceedings today.

The Supreme Court had issued on Friday a contempt of court notice to Aziz and directed him to appear today, reportedly over his controversial speeches and statements made during various TV talk shows.

On Tuesday, Minister of State for Interior Affairs Tallal Chaudhry appeared before the Supreme Court after having been issued a similar contempt notice.
According to the details, Minister of State for Interior Affairs Talal Chaudhry asked the Supreme Court for three weeks to finalise legal representation in the contempt of court initiated against him.
During the hearing headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal, the three-member bench asked Talal Chaudhry how much time he requires to appoint a lawyer over which, he said that he needs three weeks for this as counsels are busy.
The court issued show cause notice to PML-N leader and adjourned the hearing till next Tuesday.It is to be mentioned here that suo moto notice was taken after Talal denigrated Panama Case verdict on myriad occasions.
