Islamabad (April 24, 2018): The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed lawyers to complete their arguments by May 3 in the Daniyal Aziz contempt case.
As the hearing went underway today, counsel for Daniyal Aziz asked an executive producer of a private television channel whether the clip aired on TV regarding the minister was edited. To which the executive producer replied that the clip was not edited from the middle.

He told the court that clip belonged to a private function of the PML-N and no invitation was sent to cover the event.
When the additional attorney general asked the minister if December 19 speech aired on a private television channel tantamount to the contempt of court, the minister replied in the negative.
The court then ordered lawyers to complete their arguments by May 3 and adjourned the hearing of the case.
