Islamabad (August 22, 2017): The finance minister Ishaq Dar has submitted reply before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) comprising the reasons for not appearing before it.
According to details, Ishaq Dar counsel Amjad Pervaiz Advocate told NAB that his client has filed review petition in Supreme Court and could not appear before NAB till the SC decision.
On August 21, Ishaq Dar filed petition in Supreme Court seeking review of the decision of the apex court on July 28 in Panama case.The application seeking review of the court verdict in Panama case regarding the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was filed by Dr Tariq Hassan and Shahid Hamid.
In the 9-page application, the counsel of Dar submitted that there were many lacuna in the July 28, 2017 verdict.
The lawyers pleaded the court to withdraw the directives given in the July 28, verdict against their client.
It is to be mentioned here that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had already filed three applications in the apex court pleading it to review its July 28 verdict in the Panama case.
