Sargodha (June 29, 2017): Incarcerated Member of National Assembly (MNA) Jamshed Dasti on Thursday appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of what he said inhuman torture he was subjected to by police during custody.
On Thursday, the outspoken MNA was produced in an anti-terrorism court in a case for possessing illegal arms.

However, due to absence of ATC judge for being on leave the hearing could not held.
Later, he was produced before a Session Judge, who sent him to jail on judicial remand. The next hearing of the case will be held in ATC on July 3, 2017.
Talking to media on the occasion, Dasti claimed that police subjected him to inhuman and worst torture. He added that he was being targeted as political revenge.
Dasti said that his life was in danger during custody. He appealed to the CJP to take notice of the excesses meted out to him.
He revealed that he had not eaten anything for the last six day. He added that even his cancer patient sister and ailing mother were not being allowed to meet him.
He added that police was deliberately letting loose mice in his barrack.
It is to be mentioned here that last night all the cases against Dasti were transferred to ATC Sargodha from DG Khan.
His family had alleged that he was being shifted to unknown place from DG Khan Jail and his life was in danger.
The family had also staged protest on Ali Pur Bypass by blocking the road.
Meanwhile, Dasti father had also decided to write to Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief of Army Staff against subjecting his son to political revenge.
