LAHORE: Family of deposed prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif on Thursday arrived at Kot Lakhpat jail to meet him. Several other prominent faces of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) also met their party supremo.
According to details, numerous PML-N leaders met Nawaz Sharif at prison today. Among the political personalities were imprisoned Nawaz’s daughter Maryam Nawaz and mother Shamim Begum.
During the family meeting, Maryam inquired his father regarding his health conditions considering his arrival from the hospital a few days back.
Talking to media representatives outside the prison, PML-N leader Mushahid ullah claimed that Nawaz will soon be released from jail.
“Soon walls of prison will fall and Nawaz will be back to drive the dismantled democracy on its destined path”, stated Mushahid.
