BRISBANE: Australia has strengthened its position in the second day of First Test with a 195 runs opening partnership against Pakistan.
David Warner is standing on the crease with 99 runs with Joe Burns on 88 not out.
After a flop batting performance, Pakistan has failed to stop to the Australian batting too. Neither Naseem’s pace nor Yasir’s spin has affected the Australian batsmen on the fast Australian pitches.Earlier on first day, Pakistan was bowled out on 240 with Asad Shafiq scoring 76 runs (highest in the innings).
Mitchel Stark took four wickets for 52 runs, while Pat Cummins took three and Heazelwood took two wickets. Nathon Leone also grabbed one wicket.
