BRISBANE: Australia has been bowled out after setting up a massive total of 580 runs, 340 runs ahead of Pakistan on day three of the first test match.
Australia resumed their batting today with set batsmen David Warner on 151 and Marnus Labuschagne on 55 runs at the crease.
Teenage pace sensation Naseem Shah claimed his first Test wicket after removing David Warner on 154. Warner only added three runs to his overnight score of 151.
Marnus Labuschagne’s long innings of 185 runs was over when he sliced a wide ball from Shaheen Shah Afridi to gully and got caught by Babar Azam. His destructive innings had 20 fours.
Another big threat to Pakistan, Steve Smith was removed by Yasir Shah for the seventh time in tests. He just managed to score four runs. Yasir Shah took 4-205 for Pakistan.
There are 17 overs to be bowled tonight, so plenty of time for Australia to take a few wickets and Pakistan to take their time and chase the massive lead of 340 runs.
