Day 3: Pakistan Trail by 276 Runs As Batting Collapses Again

BRISBANE: Australia’s grip on the first test strengthens as Pakistani batting order fails again in the second inning on day three.

Pakistan has finished the third day with 64 runs on board losing three wickets against Australia’s massive total of 540. Australia still has a lead of 276 runs over the guests.

Captain Azhar Ali failed again and got out on five, followed by Haris Sohail on eight while the high scorer of first innings Asad Shafiq was gone for a duck. Mitchel Starc grabbed two and Patt Cummins got one wicket.

Babar Azam along with Shan Masood is standing at the crease with 20 and 27 runs respectively.

Earlier on the first day, Pakistan was bowled out on 240 in their first innings with Asad Shafiq scoring 76 runs.

Meanwhile, Australia finished the second day on 312 for the loss of just one wicket, being 72 runs ahead of Pakistan´s first innings total.
