Gujranwala (March 22, 2018): Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala Sohail Ahmed Tipu on Thursday allegedly committed suicide. He was found dead at his residence.
According to sources, the body of Sohail Ahmed Tipu was found from his residence and the rescue officials said that he was found hanging in his residence.

The district administration rushed to the residence after the news broke out. The police has shifted the body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities and started probe into the incident from different angles.
The initial report suggests that it could be a case of suicide, said the assistant medical superintendent (AMS) at the District Headquarters Hospital.
“Upon commissioner’s request, when we reached the DC house, we found the body hanging from the fan,” said the AMS, adding that the commissioner has been informed about the legalities of the post-mortem.
Sohail Ahmed was residing with his parents.
Tipu, who was appointed as deputy commissioner on December 11, 2017, has three daughters and son, who reside in Lahore.
Further investigation into the case is under way.
