Lahore (June 25, 2018): Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Tariq Mehmood Pashah clearly stated that deadline for the tax amnesty scheme is June 30, and deadline would not be extended.
Caretaker finance minister of Punjab Zia Haider Rizvi and FBR Tariq Mehmood Pashah visited chamber of commerce Lahore, trader community called on FBR chairman and finance minister.
FBR Tariq Mehmood Pashah said tax amnesty scheme were introduced for traders, they shifted their business due to law in order situation in the country but it is not possible to extend deadline.
He added collection of sales tax in this period stood at 54 billion rupees, where as now there will be audit once in three years despite three times in a year.
Lahore chamber of commerce demanded from caretaker government to extend the deadline of tax amnesty scheme in the large interest of traders.
