Karachi (December 25, 2017): The 141st birth anniversary of the father of nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is being celebrated with due respect and enthusiasm across the country today with renewed commitment to work hard for realization of the ideals he envisioned for Pakistan.
In his message Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that December 25 has special significance for the whole nation because besides paying tributes to the great leader it is a day to reiterate the resolve for reviving Quaid’s thoughts and move forward with his ideas.
The nation should retrospect how much we have succeeded in achieving the highest objectives set by our great Quaid for which the state of Pakistan was created, Prime Minister Abbasi said.
In his message on the day President Mamnoon Hussain said that the ideal way to pay tribute to the great Quaid-e-Azam is not to hesitate from any sacrifice for the development and prosperity of the motherland. The relevance of Quaid’s teachings and thought is increasing with every passing day as he had given us the golden principles of unity, faith and discipline using his foresight and political acumen, he added.
In their separate messages on the occasion President Mamnoon and Prime Minister Abbasi urge the nation to be united for the noble cause of national progress and prosperity.
Quiad-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was was born on Dec 25, 1876 in Karachi. The day has been declared as a public holiday.
Special programs, seminars, and ceremonies will be held across the country to celebrate the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Special programmes will also be telecast by the TV channels while there will also be special programmes on radio stations- both government and private.
