Lahore (November 22, 2018): The hearing of defamation cases filed by former chief minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif and former chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Sethi against Prime Minister Imran Khan has not conducted due to court’s leave.
The court has adjourned the hearing till December 7.
Former CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif and ex-chairman PCB defamation suit are under proceeding in additional session judge Muhammad Aslam, however, due to his official leave, the hearing of the case prorogued without any further development.Court has summoned reply from PM Imran Lawyers over the defamation suit filed by Shehbaz and Najam Sethi.
Shehbaz Sharif in his defamation suit of Rs 10 billion rupees alleged that PM Imran has hurled baseless allegations on him for taking a bribe to end sit-in.
“Imran accused that Shehbaz had offered him a secret deal of millions of rupees through his friend,” Shehbaz lawyer stated in his plea.On other hands, former chairman PCB Najam Sethi also filed defamation suit of Rs 100 million against PM Imran claiming that Imran Khan hurled false allegations against in him during his election rallies.
