WASHINGTON: Democratic lawmakers presented a bill in the House on Tuesday which opposed the proposal pertaining to construction of the US-Mexico border wall from the military’s budget.

As per details, while U.S. President Donald Trump prepares to address the Congress in his annual speech, Democrats stand firm against the President’s idea of wall construction on the US-Mexico border with amount withdrawn from the military’s budget.

According to an American Television, U.S. President Donald Trump will be addressing the Congress in his annual speech today where he will speak over contemporary issues gripping the country such as; government shutdown, Mexico border and immigrants.

As per the U.S. Constitution, Trump was supposed to address the Congress in the month of January but Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi stopped him from doing so, writing him a letter where she asked him to postpone his speech.

It is noteworthy to mention that if the bill gets approved, President Donald Trump will only be able to fulfil his wishes of constructing a wall on the border of US-Mexico by imposing national emergency across the United States.
