ISLAMABAD: Dengue has become an epidemic around the country as five people suffered from the disease lost their lives in Punjab.
According to details, the spread of the lethal disease has soared in many cities of Punjab which includes Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and others.
The twin cities of the country Rawalpindi and Islamabad are the worst hit by the disease as five patient suffering from the disease have died in the last 24 hours of whom two belonged to Islamabad while the rest belonged to Rawalpindi.
According to the health department, as many as 12 people have bee dies since its spread in the province.
Besides a soaring more number fo 465 patients have been diagnosed with the disease during the last 24 hours in the province of whom 152 Rawalpindi, 284 in Islamabad while the dengue spread are also continued in Multan as well as six patients are admitted in the Nishtar hospital diagnosed with the disease and tally of dengue patients turn 10 in the city.
The dengue is also making people sick in the industrial city of Faisalabad while two patients are admitted in the Allied hospital having the disease with this the number of dengue patients jumps to 49 in the city.
