Dengue Outbreak in Karachi, Kills 9 During Current Year

Karachi (October 06, 2017): The Dengue patients are increasing in Metropolis as as the death of nine of Dengue Haemorrhage Fever (DHF) patients during current year has been confirmed, besides over a dozen such other patients have been reported in city hospitals.

Municipal department of Baldia Uzma has stopped city-wide fumigation drive. Campaign that would control dengue, not working in the metropolitan.Karachi is a metropolitan city and no assurances of things changing have ever really been fulfilled.

Hardly 2,000 tonnes of garbage actually make it out of the city by Baldia Uzma, while the remaining keeps piling up on the streets, roads and other open spaces.
