Islamabad:Deputy Chairman Senate Slaeem Mandviwala has demanded the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials to present their assets in the upper senate of the parliament.
Addressing a presser in Islamabad, the Deputy Chairman Senate also decided to call on Army Chief and Prime Minister Imran Khan over actions of the graft buster body actions against the corruption.
Saleem Mandviwala said that for the first time the upper house of the parliament is in the direct target of the NAB threats.
He said that the premier get amended the NAB ordinance despite that the NAB took money on the name of the plea bargain adding that the people are brokering the plea bargain deals to save their prestige.
Attacking the NAB, he claimed that the NAB teaches us how to do business after calling us adding that Irfan Mangi has been deputed on the seat for the NAB engineering.
He said that he will himself investigate regarding the the NAB officials sitting in the Rawalpindi hindquarter. While demanding the NAB officials to present their assets decided to call the NAB officials in the parliament.
Threatening the NAB officials he said that” I will see how (NAB officials) they will not declare their assets.”
Angry Deputy Chairman said that the NAB has been issuing notices to members of National Assembly and senate while claiming that the NAB will destroy the country.
He said that he will appeal to Army Chief and the premier to save the country from the NAB.
