ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister Imran Khan vowed on Friday that the provision of justice to people is the utmost priority of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government.
He made these views while presiding over meeting over law reforms as it was also attended by the federal law minister, chief minister KP, special assistant to PM on information Dr Firdous Awan, chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Shabbar Zaidi and other senior officials.
The law minister briefed PM Imran over the reforms made in laws to protect the rights of the weak segment of the society.
Addressing to the meeting PM said that no society can exist without the establishment of justice and equality and his government’s main component is the provision of speedy justice to the people.
“Unluckily some areas still depriving of women from their due rights and existing laws could not be proved effective due to complex procedure of implementation, therefore, PTI government was working to make it easy to implement,” he said.
PM Imran mentioned that delay in the provision of just is tantamount to injustice as access of weak segment of society to the justice onus of the state.
