Disqualification Case: Court Allows Petitioner To Submit Evidence Against Yar Muhammad Rind

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has approved the petitioner Taj Muhammad Raisani’s plea to submit evidence against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Yar Muhammad Rind’s in a case pertaining to his disqualification here on Thursday.

As per details, SC’s three-member bench headed by Justice Azmat Saeed heard a case pertaining to the disqualification of PTI Balochistan’s leader and Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Yar Muhammad Rind.

At the beginning of the hearing petitioner’s lawyer told the court that the PTI leader contested in 2008’s election on the basis of his MA degree and in 2018’s election he contested on the basis of FA degree, there is a clear cut difference in the academic qualification of Yar Muhammad rind.

To this, Justice Azmat Saeed question, did you went to election tribunal. The petitioner then told the court that tribunal refused to hear the case as its underway in SC.

The court in its remarks said, submit an application to submit evidence against the accused, we will see.

The court then approved petitioner’s plea to submit evidence against the PTI leader and adjourned the hearing for three weeks.
