Islamabad (October 06, 2017): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has submitted reply in Supreme Court on Hanif Abbasi’s petition seeking his (Imran) disqualification as member of National Assembly.
The reply submitted on behalf of PTI chief by his counsel stated that the one lakh pounds sterling in the account of Niazi Services Limited, the offshore company owned by him, were spent on litigation.

The reply stated that he had submitted all details of transaction and trail of money used to buy Bani Gala property. It added that he had not participated in 2008 general election.
He said that that the one lakh pounds in the accounts of Niazi Services Limited were spent on litigation and there was nothing left in the company’s account that should be declared.
It is to be mentioned here that on Tuesday the SC concluded PTI chairman Imran Khan’s disqualification case after 66 hours-long-arguments presented by counsels of both parties in 33 hearings of 335 days.PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi had moved the apex court seeking disqualification of PTI chief Imran Khan and secretary general Jahangir Khan Tareen over non-disclosure of assets, existence of offshore companies owned by Imran and Tareen.
“Naeem Bokhari Sb [counsel for PTI chairman Imran Khan] has yet to answer some important questions—though we conclude the hearing—but not reserving the judgment [until conclude hearing into Jahangir Tareen case]—will continue to ask questions, if feel necessary,” observed Chief Justice Saqib Nisar while concluding the hearing.
