MUZAFFRABAD: The district administration of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has barred doctors at a location of Dhani along Shahr-e-Jehlum which were conducting a march towards Line of Control (LoC).
According to details doctors carrying with medicines wanted to go on the other side of the LoC to help residents of occupied Kashmir which have been facing lockdown since August 5, however, the local administration barred them going towards the LoC at Dhani location situated at Shahra-e-Jehlum.
The local administration said that situation at Chakothi sector of the LoC is tensed due to unprovoked firing of Indian forces and they can’t allow anyone marching towards the LoC.
Earlier, the doctors started their march from Muzzafarabad Medical College and traveled almost two miles during the period the protestors chanted anti-India slogans throughout the march while they demanded that they should allow visiting other side of the LoC to help our Kashmiri brethren.
