DOHA: Speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaiser after attending a four-days-Inter-parliamentarian meeting in Doha called on his Turkish counterpart Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sentop.
At the occasion, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser and his Turkish counterpart deliberated upon bilateral relations, regional security and trade and other issues of mutual interest.
Talking at the occasion, Speaker Asad Qaiser said that Kashmir dispute is flash point agenda adding that without resolving the issue peace cannot be established in South East Asia.
He said that there is need to adopt a joint point of view against the forces supporting Islamophobia.
Turkish speaker Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sentop supporting Pakistan principal stand on Kashmir said that Kashmiris should be given right of self-determination as per the United Nations resolution.
Turk speaker also applauded Pakistan’s efforts ending the crisis between India and Pakistan erupted after Indian violation of Pakistan soil on February 27.
The Turkish Speaker praised Pakistan for initiating the idea of “Five Nations Speakers’ Conference” and suggested to form a permanent secretariat of this important parliamentary forum.
